Bethany and Dylan Married

Bethany and Dylan are so sweet together!  They have known each other since 7th grade, and quickly became best friends.  In Bethany's senior year of high school, they started dating.

They decided to become husband and wife in the historic town of Apalachicola, FL.  This southern area is full of history and charm.  Their "first look" was on the second story wrap-around porch of the Gibson Inn.  Built in 1907, it made for a gorgeous place for such a momentous occasion.
Next, the ceremony was held at Lafayette Park, established in 1832.  It overlooks the Gulf of Mexico and was a wonderful setting while Bethany's father officiated.  It was very touching to watch him as he watched his only daughter say her vows.
Before we headed to the reception, Bethany and Dylan were up for anything for portraits!  Apalachicola has no shortage of beautiful backdrops; full of texture, color and history.  We went around town and let it inspire us.  We climbed rusty stairs, stood on oyster shells, and utilized any old space we could find.  They are a blast to photograph!
The reception was held at the Historic Holy Family Center.  Built in 1920 as a school, it still has old chalkboards and classrooms.  Dylan, who is studying graphic arts and design, really made this space look wonderful!  He designed the centerpieces and most of the decor.  I loved their colors of blush pink, ivory and gold.  Their reception was a fun party with a lot of dancing!   And their sparkler exit was one of my favorites!  Congratulations Dylan and Bethany!
